Hebah Hussaina is a current MSc. in the Women+ and Children’s Health Sciences Program supervised by Dr. Mariana Brussoni. She graduated from UBC’s Integrated Sciences program in May 2021, having studied Neurobiology, Psychology, and Public Health with a minor in Anthropology. Hebah has a strong background in pediatric health sciences research in a variety of settings and is passionate about supporting healthy child development and communities. Hebah’s research interests lie in the intersection of pediatric mental health and outdoor & risky play, especially though the lens of health promotion initiatives and knowledge translation. In her spare time, Hebah enjoys baking and cooking for her family and friends, powerlifting in the gym, and spending time exploring outside.
