Simran Gill is a current PhD student in the Women+ and Children’s Health Sciences Program supervised by Dr. Christine Voss. She is primarily based at the UBC Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management on the UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna. Simran’s research investigates the physical activity levels of children with Type 1 Diabetes living in BC’s Interior. Her research utilizes innovative methodology to employ remote data collection thus making her projects more accessible for rural and remote families.
