Agnes Kyamulabi is a graduate student in Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her research focuses on digital health technologies and access to contraceptive services among young people in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is passionate about using evidence-based research to inform policies and interventions that improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents, particularly in marginalized communities.

Agnes has a strong background in gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights, and preventing gender-based violence (GBV). She has worked extensively in community-based settings, supporting vulnerable populations, including children and youth, through crisis intervention, behavior management, and advocacy.

At HELP, Agnes is excited to contribute to interdisciplinary research that enhances the social and emotional well-being of children and youth. Her work aligns with HELP’s mission of mobilizing knowledge to improve health outcomes by examining how digital health innovations can bridge gaps in access to essential reproductive health services for young people.
