Marcus is a PhD student in the School of Population and Public Health, supervised by Dr. Eva Oberle. He completed his MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Alberta. Marcus’ research aims to examine how inequities in access to developmental opportunities shape social-emotional development and well-being in children and youth. His research interests also include community systems and structural inequities, with a focus on how these aspects pertain to social-emotional well-being.
Outside of research, Marcus enjoys skiing, running, hiking, and rock climbing.
