This position is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the financial activities of the Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP). Provides support to the Director and Deputy Director in the area of strategic financial management including engaging in business process reviews and re-engineering procedures to effectively implement and enhance accounting procedures, financial information flow, and administrative procedures. Responsible for the development and implementation of financial and budgetary models ensuring the sustainability of the Research Institute and that strategic planning initiatives match priorities with budgetary decisions. Initiates and is responsible for the development of systems and processes to improve management of financial resources; developing business plans and long range forecasts. Responsible for overseeing the coordination of all external applications, agreements, including granting agencies, team grants, foundation submissions and incoming contracts. This position is also responsible for the specific development related duties supporting HELP’s fund development and will liaise and work with the CFIS Development office and participate in policy development and on-going fundraising planning.
