TDI Research Project Coordinator (Job Posting #23397)
HELP is seeking a TDI Research Project Coordinator who will coordinate key project deliverables for two population health research projects: the Early Child Experiences Program of Research and the Human Development Program of Research. The incumbent will coordinate tasks related to the validation and implementation of standardized newly developed parent survey —the Toddler Development Instrument (TDI)—for assessing child development, early experiences, and social context factors at a population level. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating effective use of the TDI across multiple pilot sites, building and maintaining relationships and liaising with public health nurses, early childhood education and care professionals, and community contacts, to coordinate and train users.
EDI/MDI School Liaison (Job Posting #23343)
HELP is seeking a EDI/MDI School Liaison (Leave Replacement) who will coordinate key project deliverables for two population health research projects: the Early Child Development Program of Research and the Middle Childhood Development Program of Research This position will provide advice and direction and be the liaison between HELP and school districts and schools overseeing the data collection for two standardized research tools for assessing child development at a population level over time: the Early Development Instrument (EDI) and the Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI) within British Columbia school districts. The incumbent will be responsible for effective liaison with districts, schools, and teachers across the entire province, inviting participation in the studies, ensuring research agreements are in place before data collection, providing direction for the e-system tool, and ensuring all databases and web information is maintained.
