Port Coquitlam pilot project aims to reduce kids' vulnerability

"The Coquitlam River neighbourhood in Port Coquitlam is one of dozens of communities where children aren't thriving as they should. There, children there have consistently been found to be more vulnerable than most other children in the province.
But what makes the neighbourhood special is that the United Way has chosen it as a testing ground for a five-year project called My Neighbourhood, My Future.
The program aims to engage residents in rebuilding their community to ensure that children - particularly preschoolers - have the best chance to succeed."
