HELP Faculty Position - Research Associate (Part-Time)

The Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP), an inter-disciplinary research institute in the School of Population & Public Heath, Faculty of Medicine at The University of British Columbia, is seeking to hire a part-time Research Associate to undertake a program of research related to the impact of multi-level environments on children’s developmental outcomes.

This position is geographically based at the HELP offices at UBC, Vancouver Campus.  The successful candidate will have obtained a PhD in human development or a related discipline, a proven track record in obtaining peer reviewed funding and a successful publication record. This position requires a broad range of experience related to child and family development and health research. A level of expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods is required including a facility in conducting research with both administrative databases and longitudinal data.  A commitment to inter-disciplinarily and the ability to work within a network of researchers from diverse disciplines is required.

The Research Associate will report to the Director and Deputy Director of HELP and work closely with other Faculty, specifically through the Normative Trajectories Research Group.
