Complexities: Encounters with the Pedagogical Project of Reggio Emilia Conference
When: October 19 - 20, 2012
Where: Massey Theatre, River Market & The Inn at the Quay, New Westminster, B.C.
Complexities, a conference co-hosted by The Vancouver Reggio Consortium, Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, CAYC, and NAREA, will coincide with the BC Provincial Professional Development Day October 19/20.
The theme for this conference is “Embracing Complexity in the Daily Life of the School: The Learning Process Through the Process of Observation, Interpretation, and Documentation.” Featured speakers will be two educators from Reggio Emilia,Karyn Callaghan, Carol Anne Wien and Veronica Pacini-Ketchabaw.
In the afternoon, there will be:
- Sessions with guests from Reggio Emilia
- CAYC sponsored workshops
- Encounters with the Wonder of Learning exhibit
