Rachel serves as the MDI National Lead, supporting the national and international expansion of the MDI research project. She has previously worked in education and the non-profit sector, as a teacher, administrator and community partnerships manager. In 2019, Rachel earned her M.A. in Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia where she researched school/community partnerships serving resettled refugee children in British Columbia. Rachel is passionate about supporting comprehensive child wellness in and out of schools, and aims to bring a strengths-based approach to all her work.
