Kim coordinates the activities and projects of HELP's Aboriginal Steering Committee. Kim began her career in early childhood education. As a life-long learner, she later completed a degree in developmental psychology and worked as a child welfare social worker, as well as for government, and within the non-profit sector in project coordinator and program management roles. In 2012 she completed a MA degree in cultural studies. She is an active member of the Métis community.
