New MDI Results Released
This past year over 7,000 Grade 4 children in 15 BC communities participated in The Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI); A self-report questionnaire which includes 71 questions related to the five areas of development that are strongly linked to well-being, health and academic achievement. Reports and maps from 2012-13 data are now available online.
These reports are valuable tools that provide insights into children’s social emotional well-being, connectedness to adults and peers, physical health, and use of after-school time. Results are currently available for:
